The lots from lot 223-244 and 392-400 are an extensive collection of paperwork, technical drawings and other memorabilia from the archives of GENERAL MILLS at a time in the late 1970s when the conglomerate owned AIRFIX, PALITOY, KENNER, and KADER INDUSTRIES amongst others. It is rare for extensive material from these companies during this era to come to market - some of the only material like this is kept at the V&A Museum in London. The first group covers the kits and toys operation of AIRFIX, KENNER etc., and the second group later in the auction covers the model railways operations of PALITOY MAINLINE.
