A PALITOY Star Wars Sand People figure on original 12-back card (SW-12A) from the first year of production in 1978. Card has some slight curvature but no major wear. Colours of the card are immaculate and the bubble has not suffered any yellowing as the figure has never been on display - Provenance - the vendor worked as Art Director for Marvel UK between 1974-1979 and these figures were gifted by Palitoy to Marvel as part of the promotion of the figures in their comics. N.B. A handwritten letter of provenance from the vendor also accompanies this lot, together with a copy of the photo eventually used for the promotion. - E on VG/E card
