SAL MINEO - A Fedora hat reportedly owned by actor Sal Mineo together with a Sal Mineo autograph. The actor was known for his Oscar-nominated role as Pedro in Rebel Without a Cause (1955) and his tragic death at the hands of a mugger, aged 37. The felt hat is a size 6 7/8 and was made by The Knox Hat Company, a prominent hat manufacturer based in New York until 1932 when it merged with 2 other companies during the Great Depression.
