Tiss’s passion for art grew during school and was fuelled by some inspirational teachers and he went on to study Fine Art at Staffordshire University. After years of doing a “proper job”, it was during the first lockdown in 2020 that he picked up a pen and paper and started to draw again. Over the past two years, his style has fluctuated between a structured madness of shapes, doodles and colours, and his depiction of childhood cartoon characters and the female form. Tiss loves experimenting with new mediums and techniques and is never more happy than with pens and paper in front of him.
