She has had a varied career beginning with designing jewellery as a teenager, then as a glass blower, broadcasting engineer and teacher. Her work as a private English and Maths tutor led her to discover that she is dyslexic which probably accounts for the fact the she likes to paint with both hands or swap from time to time. She works exclusively in soft pastel working on commission of children, adults, pets and horses.
