THE DRAUGHTSMAN'S CONTRACT (1983) - The debut commercial film for director Peter Greenaway - Anthony Higgins is the 17th Century draughtsman hired to make twelve drawings of a country estate and is paid in sexual favours by the land owner's wife and daughter (Janet Suzman and Anne Louise Lambert). The drawings seem to be an artistic witness to murder and the complex visuals in this cleverly designed film poster set the scene perfectly - artwork by the Kruddart design team - rolled / previously folded
