MATCHBOX (Moko Lesney) - A group of 1950s issue diecast vehicles, originally sourced from the 'Millstream Matchbox Archive' in 2015. These were part of an unopened early 1960 shipment from Fred Bronner in the USA and lay undiscovered in the attic of a sawmill until the 2000s. Comprises #30 Ford Prefect (olive brown, gpw, B4 box), #34 Volkswagen Microvan (blue, gpw, B4 box), #36 Austin A50 (blue green, gpw, B4 box), #45 Vauxhall Victor (yellow, gpw, B4 box), #46 Morris 1000 (blue, gpw, B4 box), #50 Commer Pickup (dark tan, gpw, B3 box), #53 Aston Martin (metallic light green, gpw, B5 box), #59 Ford Singer Van (light green, gpw, B5 box), #69 Nestle's Van (maroon, gpw, B5 box, one end flap detached), and #70 Thames Estate Car (yellow/turquoise, gpw, B5 box).
